My
expertise in the nonprofit sector has been within Development, specifically in
the area of grants: internal prospecting and prospect research, grant portfolio
evaluation, developing and executing grant calendars, preparing grant
proposals, and reviewing organization approaches and implementing effective
strategies and practices. I also bring experience in nonprofit consulting,
where I’ve supported grassroots organizations in building sustainable
infrastructures and establishing effective fund development practices. My work
has included guiding strategic planning, evaluating organizational grant
readiness, and helping teams build strong development programs from the ground
up. This background allows me to approach grant writing with a deep
understanding of what funders look for and how to position an organization for
long-term growth.  I have obtained Certificates in Grant Writing
and Administration and in Project Management. I am actively involved with the
Grant Professionals Association of Orange County and have also taken part in
collaborations with the Los Angeles chapter and San Diego chapter. I am also
Grant Professional Certified, one of 21 credentialed Grant Writers in the state
of California, and of 514 nationwide.
